Teresa and Margaret
Aestheticians Margaret Alison and Teresa Clothier are working at The Clinic Rooms and specialise in non-surgical aesthetic treatments. They are independent from Minerva Medical Aesthetics but the treatments they offer complement the facial aesthetic work of Dr Burrows.
Margaret qualified in 1984 at Champneys College of Health and Beauty obtaining the International Diploma CIDESCO. She has experience working in the beauty industry as well as medical aesthetics. Now self-employed, experience includes eight years at an award winning salon in Jersey and eleven years working alongside medically qualified doctors offering IPL hair reduction and advanced facial treatments.
Teresa Clothier has eighteen years experience in the beauty industry. She has ITEC and IIHT qualifications as well as eleven years in medical aesthetics. She prides herself on quality customer service along with delivering treatments to a high standard.
Both aestheticians use Agera Rx medical formula skin peels which are scientifically proven to have an effect on the ageing process of the skin, working to enhance and rejuvenate facial appearance. The products use growth peptides stimulating collagen and elastin production and for treating acne by destroying yeast and bacteria. The advanced facial skin treatment is combined with microdermabrasion to exfoliate the skin surface. An intense treatment to rejuvenate and address your skin issues, in particular sun damage.
They also offer Dermafrac, our micro-needling system. It uses a vacuum and thousands of micro-channels are created allowing infusion of hyalloronic acid to hydrate and plump the skin. The skin repairs by speeding up the production of collagen and elastin.
The Palamar Starlux is our pulsed light and laser machine. It has a built in cooling system adding extra comfort to the treatment. Margaret and Teresa advise a course of treatments to tackle unwanted facial and body hair for a permanent reduction. Facial sun-induced pigmentation and red veins are reduced with this harmless treatment.
Margaret is also able to offer electrolysis using short wave diathermy for un-pigmented facial hair which is unsuitable for IPL. Again, this is a course of treatments and results are obtained for those that are patient. Using the same system, small skin tags and cherry angeomas (which look very similar to freckles and moles but are red) are treated.
A consultation is necessary to explain what can be achieved for each individual. In fact, a free consultation with one of our aestheticians will answer your questions and direct you to the best treatment. We look forward to welcoming you to The Clinic Rooms on the second floor of The Hathaway Medical Centre. Telephone: 01249 454545.
